Hi RaDonna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Last year I opened Inspo Studio, where the girlies come to get private tarot readings in Columbus Ohio—but I can say with certainty I never planned to read tarot for a living! When I started reading cards in 2016, I was growing a content marketing business. Tarot was a hobby. It quickly became my lifeline, helping me break free from old narratives and rewrite new ones, and I knew I had to share it with others.
Eight years and thousands of readings later, we opened Inspo Studio. People come for private tarot appointments, gather friends for tarot parties, and hire our mobile tarot services for special occasions.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Ha! Definitely not always smooth. There’s so much I’ve had to learn on the fly or lessons I’ve learned the hard way. I’ve had to trust my intuition completely. For me, the biggest challenge is proving that tarot isn’t just a novelty but a transformative tool. Like I get it, it’s a fun activity to do on a whim and I totally encourage people to get their cards read at least once. What I want to scream from the rooftops though is the potential tarot has to radically change what we believe is possible for our lives. And with regular insight? It can open up pathways that actually *do* change our lives. So educating people, growing a meaningful and aligned client base, and navigating the ups and downs of business with integrity stays in my daily focus.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At Inspo Studio, we blend tarot, coaching, and community to help women gain clarity and confidence. Private readings, long-term coaching and transformative workshops take tarot beyond predictions and create an environment of self-discovery and empowerment.
I’m so freaking proud of building a space where women feel seen, supported, and inspired to take action in their lives. Decades of violence and abuse in my own life created some really negative narratives and relationship patterns. Tarot truly showed me more was possible. It opened up a pathway where I could be curious about other possibilities. I ended up changing my life. This is the lens I view tarot readings from. It definitely sets our style apart, but our approach is also fun, affirmative, modern, and deeply insightful—I hope to make tarot accessible, exciting, and impactful, whether it’s through a random girls night out that turns into a life-changing conversation, or a committed client that utilizes the tarot deck as their personal hype team.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Relentless optimism. I believe in my vision, even when things get messy or uncertain. My ability to adapt, get creative, and trust that the right people will find my work has made all the difference. I may have mentioned this, but I also keep things fun—because when you love what you do, people feel that energy, and it becomes contagious.
