Life & Work with Maurandis Berger

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maurandis Berger.

Maurandis Berger

Maurandis, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was born in Lorain, OH the youngest of 10 kids. Entertainment came easy because that’s all I was around, singer, dancers, musicians. So, my mom put me in drama classes and stage plays at a really young age. I’ve pretty much been in entertainment my whole life, but as I got older, I wanted to take it to the next level. So, I became an official actor in 2016, I’ve been in many movies that are on big platforms. I have my newest movie being released in May; it’s called ‘Joy Lane’ which is a true story.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was not smooth at all, my path to success was hard and came with a huge price. It wasn’t easy at all, but I overcame those obstacles and was able to be where I am now.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a writer, actor, and director. Most known for my movie GRIMY, which is on Tubi. I’m mostly proud about not giving up on myself and my craft. What sets me apart from others is I have my own style of writing and film making. My fan base knows that if I come out with a movie, it’s gonna be good. So, I would say having lots of fans support me is was separates me from others.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Yes, take your time and drive slow. Put the work in because their are no short cuts in this business, you have to work hard for it. And also, it’s not what you know but who you know. I wish I knew these things coming up.
