Today we’d like to introduce you to Maggie Green
Hi Maggie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hey!
My name is Maggie and I have been a makeup artist for 10 years. I went to hair school and immediately fell in love with the art and beauty of makeup. The feeling of making someone feel beautiful by just enhancing their own natural beauty is something I hope everyone can experience!
You can go from dramatic, to FX, to beauty to natural. There’s so much freedom in makeup.
I have taught Makeup & Skincare off and on throughout the years and I believe it is so important to know how to use the products you already have and how to make your routine even better for skin.
All things beauty is my niche. I feel like I have always understood it and it has always clicked for me! I have added on skincare and lash services and it’s the same feeling as makeup – the clients reaction to that extra glow on there face or how much more their eyes popped because of the lashes.. my clients are amazing and I can’t wait to continue to meet more of you.
This industry can be hard at times and I have ventured out into other careers thinking maybe that’s where I should be. But no matter what I always come back to this industry because it’s where I belong and I continue to constantly learn something new.
My friends and my family have been my constant push and reminder that this industry is exactly where I need to be. Without them, I don’t know where I’d be and for that I thank them. Because of them I have an official business, constantly booked and have the confidence to always push myself into learning something new and pursuing my dreams.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Yes and No! There’s hard times when it’s a slower time of year for the industry or remembering to have patience when you share a new service and no one has booked yet.
This industry has a very large community of people so it’s important to remember to not fall into the competitive ways and keep pushing on for yourself and for your business.

Beauty by Maggie LLC is most known for Bridal Makeup! Which is something I’m most proud of- the connections I make with the bride from the first conversation to the trial and to day of is so important to me. I love learning about their story and really connecting.
Once wedding season hits almost every Friday and Saturday are booked with amazing future bride to be’s.
I also work with quite a few photographers for headshots, boudoir, senior sessions.

Connect with me! Im very easy to talk to and connect with. We should all be supporting each other in this industry so collaboration or just connecting on social media works for me.
I am constantly looking for more people to add to my vendor list for brides or other clients! MUAS, HMUA. Bridal Hairstylist, Photographers etc.
