Hi Kareem, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I started making music in high school. I really never looked at it as a career option. But I had so many people hear my music and tell me that I’m talented and should really go for it. So, I decided to give it a go, and the rest is history!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road! I’ve actually had many struggles along the way. A lot setbacks and having to deal with things like my mental health. But it has all made this journey what it is, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a musician based out of Cleveland. I specialize in rap and hip-hop. I produce all my music on my own. I’m most proud of figuring everything that I figured out on my own, and I’ve gotten several songs over 20,000+ plays and streams with no help or promotion. What sets me apart, honestly, is e fact that I’m myself in my music, and everything I’ve made I’ve made by myself.
Any big plans?
I’m looking forward to doing more live shows and interacting with my fans a lot more next year. Going to different states and cities with my friends, growing our brand. There are a lot of big changes coming for next year, but I want them to be surprising, so I don’t want to say too much now.
