Today we’d like to introduce you to Jon Keen
Hi Jon, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m originally from Middletown, Ohio. Although, I currently reside on the westside of Cincinnati. The area I grew up in had a lot of poverty and crime. I wanted an outlet and escape so I channeled my energy into my creativity. I studied ancient texts, history and all things metaphysical and evolved my knowledge into the occult and everything esoteric. After collaborations with some of the best in my niche I grew organically my own cult following and became a staple in news commentary, spirituality and conspiracy circles online with tens of thousands following my work and millions watching. During the cancel culture of 2020 I was then removed from iTunes with well over 100k downloads and other platforms but I persisted and evolved using my gifts in the tarot and astrology as a means to continue doing what I love. Now I have so everything from memes, to reels, to my classic long form deep dive podcasts, have cool guests and tarot readings and offer private sessions, memberships and merch too.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I think the big struggle for me has been censorship, and cancel culture because when you cover sensitive subjects such as religion and politics etc it can upset people and especially if your willing to speak your truth and stand on what you believe in you will always ruffle some feathers.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Well my specialty is the occult and metaphysics which I’ve studied over ten years and I have been pretty successful at doing tarot and astrology readings. I am most proud of being able to do something most wouldn’t or couldn’t do and do what I love for a living. What sets me apart us my unique authenticity and my vast knowledge on all subjects and the fact I cover everything and don’t just specialize in one specific area.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I think anytime you put yourself, your face, your name and your opinions online for all to see you are taking a risk. When your livelihood depends on people’s perception of you it’s a very risky business. Not to mention talking about controversial and conspiratorial topics create risk in its own right.
