Today we’d like to introduce you to Hankin TV.

Hi Hankin, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey in media off with writing an urban fiction novel titled Hankin In Love With The Game and the Hankin brand grew from there.

The definition of Hankin is, when you can supply the demand and consistently turn a profit. Which is a synonym for hustle and everyone is hankin in one way or another.

I was trying to find ways to market and promote my brand so, I created the Hankin Tv platform where I interview artist, business, and brand owners.

The Hankin brand includes merch the Hankin Tv youtube channel and the book Hankin In Love With The Game.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Anything we set out to do will always have it’s ups and downs and we will face struggles in many different ways so, of course I’ve faced some struggles and it is not always a smooth road but, I have been through some things in life to prepare me for when times get tough and how to persevere.

I served 10 years in prison, I have been homeless, and life has dealt me some devastating blows and those things alone has definitely taught me how to believe in myself and to never give up.

Being patient is something I have struggled with along way and no matter how much we believe in our selves self doubt sometimes will try to sneak in because we are our hardest critics.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Cinematography/ Filmmaking. I am currently working on part II of Hankin In Love With The Game. I am also an entrepreneur and content creator.

I would like to believe I specialize in marketing and promoting because I interview artist, business, and brand owners in efforts to share what they have going on.

I would think I am most known for my you tube channel because I have fairly a nice audience and at the moment that is what I am more consistent in.

It’s hard to say, what I am most proud of because I have overcome several obstacles in life and in my current plight and I am continuing to accomplish goals.

What sets me apart from others is, not trying to be like others.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Networking is very important especially in the space we are in now with social media, content creating, and streaming. I think it’s easier today to find a mentor than in times past because we can just click on a you tube video or reach out to someone on social media.

Social media has most definitely worked for me because i can and have messaged someone when I have a question or need some advice.
