Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandi Price.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been in the healthcare field for about 15 years—10 years as an RN and five years before that as an LPN. My experience includes home care, acute care, case management, radiology, med-surg, and even working as a travel nurse during COVID. Traveling during the pandemic allowed me to make great money, but it also brought a lot of burnout and made me realize I wanted something different—something that was still connected to nursing, but on my own terms.
Around that time, I started seeing IV hydration businesses popping up in Atlanta. One day I came across a post offering an IV hydration business startup class. I decided to go for it. I traveled to Atlanta, took the class, fell in love with the concept, and knew immediately it was something I wanted to bring back home to Cincinnati.
That’s how Plush IV Hydration & Wellness was born in September 2020, and we’ve been going strong ever since.
What started as IV hydration has now grown into a full wellness experience, to serve more clients and meet more needs
Plush IV Hydration & Wellness has become my way of blending my nursing background with entrepreneurship—giving people quality care, confidence, and wellness all in one place.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Starting a business, especially in the middle of a pandemic, came with its own set of challenges. One of the biggest struggles was learning the business side of things. I had years of nursing experience, but running a business requires a whole different skill set. I had to teach myself about marketing, building a client base, managing finances, and staying compliant with regulations.
In the beginning, I also had to work hard to build trust. IV hydration was still a new concept in my area, so I spent a lot of time educating people about the benefits and safety behind it. There were moments where it felt slow, and I questioned myself, but I stayed consistent.
Balancing my nursing career while trying to grow a business was another challenge. There were long days, missed sleep, and times where I felt stretched thin. But every struggle taught me something and pushed me to get better.
What kept me going was my passion for nursing and my desire to create something of my own. Plush IV Hydration & Wellness is the result of hard work, dedication, and a lot of faith, and the journey has been worth every obstacle.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Plush IV Hydration & Wellness is all about helping people feel better from the inside out. I specialize in IV hydration therapy, vitamin injections, iron infusions, post-op lymphatic massages, body contouring treatments like cavitation and radiofrequency, dermal fillers, and more. I also do spa parties, I’ve been the Iv hydration nurse for celebrities, also when they come here on tour, weddings, and multiple huge events.
My goal is to offer services that support overall wellness, boost confidence, and make self-care easy and accessible.
Before starting my IV hydration business, I actually owned a scrub store—so a lot of people in the medical field already knew me as “the girl that sells the scrubs,” lol. That experience really helped me build relationships in the healthcare community and showed me early on that I loved entrepreneurship.
I’m most proud of how far I’ve come and how much Plush IV has grown since 2020. I built this business while being married, raising three kids and a puppy, being a full-time Nurse Practitioner student, and teaching clinicals to RN students. It’s a lot to juggle, but it keeps me motivated and grounded.
What sets me apart is my nursing background, my passion for patient care, and the personal relationships I build with my clients. I’ve been in healthcare for 15 years, and I bring that experience into every service I provide. My clients know they’re getting safe, skilled care—and they also know they’re going to be treated with kindness, respect, and real connection.
Plush IV Hydration & Wellness isn’t just a business to me—it’s my purpose. It’s my way of blending wellness, education, and compassion into a space where people can come to feel better, look better, and take care of themselves in a trustworthy environment.
What are your plans for the future?
In the future, I’m looking forward to expanding Plush IV Hydration & Wellness even more. Once I become a Nurse Practitioner, I plan to add additional medical and wellness services that will allow me to care for my clients on a higher level. My goal is to continue growing, continue learning, and continue elevating the experience for everyone who walks through my doors.
I see Plush IV becoming a full, all-in-one wellness destination—offering more advanced treatments, more education, and even more opportunities to serve the community. I’m excited about leveling up, expanding my team, and building something that not only reflects my passion for nursing but also provides long-term value for my clients.
Big things are coming, and I’m grateful for every step of the journey.
