Life & Work with Ashley Tyler of Cincinnati

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Tyler

Hi Ashley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Being a blogger and content creator is something that I have wanted to do for YEARS. For as long as I can remember it was something I always felt a pull to, but honestly was a little nervous about actually trying. I’m still very new to this world and still finding my footing but every time I submit a new post or come up with a new idea, I am filled with a peace and feeling like I’m doing what I should be doing and the nerves die down just a tiny bit.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road at all, but that’s mainly on me. I tend to have perfectionist tendencies and the whole “done is better than perfect” is a hard concept for me to accept at times. I have put things off many times because I don’t know what I should be doing or how exactly to perfectly accomplish a task. It’s hard because it’s not a typical job where you start and go through a training process, you have to just jump into the deep end and figure it out as you go.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As I mentioned before, I’m still very new to this whole world and even calling myself a creative or content creator seems like I’m lying to all of you. But I am a fashion and lifestyle content creator. I realized somewhere over the last few years I have completely lost myself and wanted to not only rediscover myself but also learn new things about myself and I’m hoping to also inspire others who may have lost themselves to join the journey with me.

The part I’m most proud of is just starting in general. It’s a scary concept to put yourself out there for the entire world to judge, especially when you are at the beginning of a journey to better yourself and maybe aren’t feeling the greatest about certain aspects of yourself at the time.

I believe what sets me apart is my love of many different things. I’m a fashion and beauty girl who LOVES sports and a good book. I also travel a lot and 90% of those travels are solo, which seems to take people by surprise whenever I mention that fact. I want to inspire everyone to live their lives without waiting around for someone else.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like the best about our city is how much there is to do! There seems to always be something going on whether it’s a sporting event, cultural event or festival celebrating something. I also feel like there is so much diversity and cultures that I am able to enjoy and learn about that maybe I wouldn’t be exposed to in a smaller city.

The thing I like least about our city is the traffic. I’m sure people from bigger cities would roll their eyes at me, but I just don’t feel like our roads were made for the population we have and leaving my house sometimes feels like a real nightmare getting from point A to point B lol
