Hi Kellie, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
It’s got to be photography. After a while, I am getting my groove back.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Kellie, I’m a photographer. Whether it’s people, products, or places, I care about highlighting them at their best for the world to see.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
Honestly? I used to hold this belief that everything will work out. No matter what you do, or how bad things get.
I’ve learned over and over again, it’s a constant balancing act of caring for yourself and others in a healthy, plausible way to manage yourself and the life you want to curate.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Perspective is everything. Through suffering you can appreciate success.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Having a well established sense of community and having a safe space to be creative has always been a vital part of who I am.
I like to stay busy and always on the move.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What will you regret not doing?
I really regret not listening to people when I should have.
When I was younger I really should have listened to professional advice.
To this day I look back from as little as two to four years ago and realized I should have listened to antidotes that my friends gave me.
Everyday, I try to really listen to people and the advice they give no matter how cruel or unwarranted.
