We’re looking forward to introducing you to Chris Bianchi. Check out our conversation below.
Chris, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A pretty normal morning for me is waking up, stretching out, grabbing some coffee, getting my kid on the bus, and then heading into the office to dive straight into emails and whatever’s at the top of the to-do list for the day.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Chris Bianchi, a worldwide artist manager and music entrepreneur based in Cleveland, Ohio. I run CB Entertainment, a company focused on helping artists at every level build real, sustainable careers. We work closely with artists on branding, marketing, releases, and overall strategy, while also providing merchandise and staging support to help bring their vision to life both on and off the stage.
What makes what we do different is that we’re truly hands-on. We don’t just give advice- we’re in the trenches with our artists, helping them grow from the ground up and creating opportunities that make sense for where they’re at in their careers. Right now, I’m focused on developing new artists, launching upcoming releases, and continuing to expand what CB Entertainment offers in both the music and live event space
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world started putting expectations on me, I was just a kid who loved music. Obsessed with drums, energy, being outside, and imagining what was possible. I spent a lot of time dreaming about the world beyond my surroundings and what it would be like to be a rockstar one day, chasing that feeling of freedom and excitement that music brings.
Do you remember a time someone truly listened to you?
Yeah, absolutely. I’m lucky to have a handful of really great friends and a few truly close ones who genuinely listen and give honest feedback when it matters. Both personally and professionally. I’m pretty intentional about who I go to depending on the situation, and I keep my inner circle small on a personal level. That trust and perspective means everything.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
I think like most people, there’s a work version of me and a home version of me. They’re not completely different, but they do serve different purposes. The public side is more focused and professional, while the personal side is a little more relaxed. That said, it really just depends on the situation and what it calls for in the moment.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m in my element, surrounded by my people. Being in the middle of an event, in the action, creating something, and sharing that time with friends and our artists is where everything clicks. That’s the moment that makes all the buildup and long hours leading up to it feel completely worth it.
