Hi Ra’Nesha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My entrepreneurial journey has always been rooted in storytelling, creating meaningful experiences, and helping others. My husband and I have always shared a passion for travel, and the memories we’ve created together inspired me to turn that passion into something greater. His encouragement and unwavering belief in my vision gave me the confidence to launch Springer Travel Adventures. Today, I am grateful to have him as both my husband and business partner.

Before becoming a travel advisor, I founded Queen Thrifty, a lifestyle blog where I shared money-saving tips, travel inspiration, and ways to make the most of everyday experiences. That passion led me to partner with visitor bureaus to promote destinations through authentic storytelling. I also wrote entertainment previews for Disney film releases and was featured in CLE Magazine for an article highlighting the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Those experiences taught me the power of both travel and storytelling to inspire others. Through Springer Travel Adventures, I now help clients create personalized, unforgettable vacations while building a business that reflects the same sense of curiosity and adventure my husband and I share.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Entrepreneurship presents its own unique challenges. I have developed skills in navigating uncertainty, adapting to diverse roles, and maintaining commitment even during periods of slower progress. Success in building a business requires resilience, patience, and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.

Every obstacle has strengthened my confidence and reinforced my purpose. Those experiences have shaped not only my business but also the entrepreneur I have become.

As you know, we’re big fans of Springer Travel Adventures . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Our impact extends beyond planning vacations. We believe in supporting the communities and destinations that welcome us.

In June, we provided school supplies for 25 students and two teachers in Jamaica, helping ensure they had the resources needed for a successful school year. During familiarization trips, I have also spent time reading with local students, creating meaningful connections through education and cultural exchange.

Following Hurricane Melissa, we returned with additional supplies to support staff members at Couples Resorts, who were impacted by the storm. For us, giving back is more than making a donation. It’s about listening to the needs of others, showing up when help is needed, and finding meaningful ways to make a positive difference.

Our commitment to service also extends to our local community. We regularly donate clothing, help stock local blessing boxes with needed items, and volunteer our time to support community initiatives. Giving back is not something we do occasionally. It is a core part of who we are and how we choose to make a difference.

We are also proud to have raised more than $15,000 for the American Cancer Society over the past two and a half years. Through Springer Travel Adventures, our goal is to create unforgettable travel experiences while leaving a positive impact wherever our journey takes us.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Networking has been one of the most valuable tools in my entrepreneurial journey. I have found success by consistently showing up, supporting others, and building genuine relationships. For me, networking is not about what someone can do for me. It is about creating meaningful connections that grow over time.

Many opportunities have emerged through conversations, collaborations, and relationships cultivated over the years. Entrepreneurship can sometimes feel like a solitary journey, but having a strong network of people who encourage, challenge, and support you can make all the difference.

Having a supportive husband and a strong community has been instrumental to my success. I am grateful for a husband who believes in my dreams and continuously supports my vision. I am equally thankful for the friends, family members, colleagues, and community members who encourage me along the way.

Most importantly, I am grateful for my incredible clients. Their trust in me and Springer Travel Adventures allows me to do what I love every day. They have become an important part of my journey, and I appreciate every person who chooses to travel with us.
