Hi Nick, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have been a professional Dog trainer for over 10 years. I love my job, and I love working with owners to get them the best possible result that allows them to enjoy their Dog and live with their dog for success. I take a balanced approach to Dog training, focusing on “real world” functional Dog training that allows owners and their Dogs to enjoy the training and use it in every day situations (such as casual walks in the neighborhood, hikes and nature, going out in public, having visitors over to the home, etc.). Our methods are effective, fast, and easy to apply. We deliver the best possible results, and the training is fun and easy for our clients and their Dogs. We specialize in obedience, off-leash, behavior modification, and aggression. OUR SERVICES INCLUDE: Private 1×1 Training (at the owner’s home, neighborhood, and public parks nearby), Board & Train, Day Training, and Virtual Training. We also provide Service Dog Training and Certification, as well as Therapy Dog Training and Certification.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In the beginning, the road was bumpy due to slow progress in building a brand and a reputation in the Northeast Ohio region. Slowly but surely, word began to spread. As I accumulated more and more Dog training clients, I was able to continue producing positive results for owners and their Dogs. I am a firm believer that delivering an excellent product is the most important part of running a successful business. So, every day, I focus on delivering the best training results for owners and their Dogs. Now, I do not worry about bumps in the road… because I know that as long as I get the best results for owners, the rest will follow and fall into place.

Without risk, there can be no reward. I used to work a good job in corporate finance. Leaving this job to branch off into Dog training was a major risk, as I was starting my own business in a completely different and unrelated industry. So far, this risk has paid off, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
