Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathan David.
Hi Nathan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have over 10 years of experience in marketing and have driven results as a consultant for a range of organizations from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. I moved from industry to academia and I am thrilled to be teaching students actionable skills through marketing, communication, and analytics courses. I frequently lead workshops and speak at industry conferences such as Content Marketing World. In addition, I am the author of the textbook, Digital Marketing Analytics: Strategic Decision-making, which is taught at more than 100 universities.
I love teaching so much that I found a whole additional avenue to instruct! I am an instructor and the Founder of Everybody Cycle.
For me, indoor cycling is the one form of exercise that is something I love to do rather than a chore I have to do. I look forward to my time on the bike and the physical and mental release it provides. Indoor cycling is my respite and opportunity to recharge.
I created Everybody Cycle to help others unlock their own positive experiences through indoor cycling.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Space was the biggest challenge when we started.
In October 2022, Everybody Cycle started in a shared gymnasium space with just one instructor, myself, and 2 rides a week. Depending on the day, we shared the gym with pickle ball, basketball, or dodgeball players. As you can imagine, stray balls flying into our rides was a common occurrence. Although this wasn’t the intimate and reflective environment I envisioned, the shared gymnasium space provided an opportunity to see if the concept resonated with riders. Our classes were small but the positive feedback from our early riders was inspiring. These riders were the catalyst for Everybody Cycle’s growth. Beyond being enthusiastic recruiters of new riders, many of these early riders later took on roles as instructors and staff at Everybody Cycle.
In April 2023, our community had outgrown the limitations of the shared gymnasium space and Everybody Cycle moved to our very own studio at 11798 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107. The new space provided the intimate, reflective, and distraction free environment I wanted for our riders. It also provided the opportunity for more ride times and amenities. We now have 5 instructors and over 10 riders each week. Nevertheless, Everybody Cycle isn’t defined by our space. The core of Everybody Cycle is our community of riders. We prioritize connecting riders through our online community and in-person social events. It has been a joy to see new friendships grow both inside and outside the studio and to see members rally around their fellow riders.

My husband, Gustavo Ramirez, provided so much mental and physical support along the way. He is my sounding board for decisions and new ideas as well as the first person to show up to help me move a bike or set up an event.
Everybody Cycle would not be what it is today without our riders, especially our early riders. Their support of and belief in this community is what makes it function and grow. I am eternally grateful to them all.
