Inspiring Conversations with Mike Blose of Triple Threat Concierge Performance Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike Blose.

Hi Mike, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I didn’t set out to become an entrepreneur—I simply followed a passion for helping people grow.
For more than 20 years, I’ve been an educator, where I learned that lasting change comes through accountability, consistency, and meaningful relationships. Along the way, I discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a journey that transformed my life and eventually led me to earn my black belt and become an IBJJF Certified Black Belt.
That passion led me to become the co-owner and instructor of Triple Threat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, where I’ve had the privilege of helping children, adults, and families build confidence, resilience, and discipline through martial arts. I also built a career as a real estate investor and entrepreneur, which gave me firsthand insight into the demands placed on busy professionals.
Those experiences inspired me to create Triple Threat Concierge Performance Group. I realized many successful people wanted the benefits of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but couldn’t make traditional academy schedules fit their lives. Today, we bring personalized coaching directly to our clients, helping them become stronger, sharper, and more capable through Physical Capacity, Mental Resiliency, and Technical Mastery.
No matter the role—teacher, coach, investor, or entrepreneur—my mission has remained the same: helping people grow through challenge, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all. Like most entrepreneurs, my path has been filled with setbacks, pivots, and lessons learned. Balancing a full-time career in education while building a real estate investment business, coaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and raising a family has required a tremendous amount of discipline, perseverance, and sacrifice.

I’ve had real estate projects that didn’t go as planned and plenty of moments where I questioned whether I was on the right path. At the same time, earning a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt taught me that progress isn’t measured by how often you succeed—it’s measured by your willingness to keep showing up after setbacks.

Those experiences reinforced one lesson: growth comes through challenge. Every obstacle has made me a better teacher, coach, business owner, husband, father, and grandfather. Today, those lessons shape how I coach others through Triple Threat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy and Triple Threat Concierge Performance Group. I don’t promise an easy path—I help people develop the mindset and skills to overcome difficult ones.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Triple Threat Concierge Performance Group?
Here’s a polished version you can copy and paste:

At the core of everything we do is one mission: helping people become stronger, sharper, and more capable.

I’m the co-owner and instructor of Triple Threat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, where we believe Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone. Our academy is built around technical excellence, character development, and a welcoming culture where children, adults, beginners, and experienced practitioners can all thrive. We’re just as proud of the confidence, discipline, and resilience our students develop as we are of the techniques they learn.

I also founded Triple Threat Concierge Performance Group to serve a different audience—busy professionals who want the life-changing benefits of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but don’t have the time or desire for traditional academy training. We bring elite, personalized coaching directly to our clients’ homes or offices, eliminating the barriers of scheduling, commuting, and crowded classes.

Our services include private one-on-one and small-group Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction, personalized fitness and mobility programs, accountability coaching, and customized training plans designed around each client’s goals, schedule, and experience level. Whether someone is looking to build confidence, improve their fitness, learn practical self-defense through live training, or simply challenge themselves in a new way, we provide a premium coaching experience that meets them where they are.

What sets us apart is that we don’t simply teach martial arts—we use Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a vehicle for personal development. Every coaching program is built around three pillars: Physical Capacity, Mental Resiliency, and Technical Mastery. Our goal isn’t just to help clients become better grapplers; it’s to help them become healthier, more confident, more resilient leaders at home, in business, and throughout their communities.

What I’m most proud of is that both organizations are built on the same values: integrity, humility, accountability, and continuous improvement. Whether someone walks through the doors of Triple Threat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy or trains privately through Triple Threat Concierge Performance Group, they can expect expert coaching, genuine relationships, and a commitment to helping them become the best version of themselves.

What’s next?
I’m excited about continuing to grow both Triple Threat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy and Triple Threat Concierge Performance Group while staying true to the mission that started it all: helping people become stronger, sharper, and more capable.

At the academy, we’re focused on serving even more families, developing exceptional instructors, expanding our community partnerships, and continuing to make Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu accessible to people of all ages and experience levels.

For Triple Threat Concierge Performance Group, my vision is to become the premier provider of concierge Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and performance coaching for busy professionals. I’m looking forward to expanding our private coaching services, developing educational resources and online training programs, and eventually mentoring other qualified black belts who share our philosophy so they can bring this model to their own communities.

More than anything, I hope our organizations continue to have a lasting impact beyond the mats. If we can help people become healthier, more confident, more resilient, and better leaders in their homes, workplaces, and communities, then I’ll consider that a success. My goal has never been simply to grow a business—it’s to build a legacy of helping people reach their full potential through challenge, accountability, and continuous improvement.
