Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Eisner.
Hi Michael, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a personal injury lawyer. Prior to opening my business, I worked for larger personal injury firms for 25 years. During those 25, I was lucky enough to have great mentoring. With my kids getting older, I decided to get back to my roots and take all I’ve learned to represent fewer cases at a time in order to give each and every client the personal attention they have always desired. As such, I decided to open my own practice in 2021.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
As with everything in life, there were challenges to opening my own practice. I was very fortunate to have a former employer who was very supportive and helpful through the process. Less than one year into the new venture, I faced a personal health crisis. I was diagnosed with Stage IV non-Hodgkins lymphoma, and while building the business faced the challenge of battling cancer. Luckily, the treatment worked, and I am now in remission. The unexpected change in my health caused me to modify my business plan and take on even fewer cases during treatment so I could provide the level of service I committed to each client. I do believe the condition, and associated treatment has made me even more empathetic to my clients who are going through some very trying times. As a result, I am even more patient and understanding as I work for them.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Law Offices of Michael L Eisner, LLC?
I am an attorney with a focus on Plaintiffs’ personal injury cases. I mostly help people get compensation for their injuries and hardships caused by the neglect of others (i.e., motor vehicle crashes, dog bites, etc.). I hope that I am known for being more available and understanding than others in my industry. I feel the most accomplished when I make a difference for someone and am most proud of the cases and claims I would not have been able to help with when working for others. This includes correcting a claimed fraud in a real estate transaction and helping a widow collect her disputed life insurance claims. For the claims I am not equipped to handle, I take great pride in giving straight forward and compassionate advice and helping the potential clients getting pointed in the right direction.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I am a lifelong Clevelander and proud of my roots here. I find that maintaining a balance between my career and personal life makes me a better consultant and lawyer. I take great satisfaction in helping people resolve their disputes civilly and allowing them to find closure and move on with their lives.
