Hi Keyana, Deidra, and Latrice, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We were looking for something fun and innovative to bring to Greater Cleveland, came across the “selfie museum” concept, and fell in love! In the midst of the pandemic, we decided to come together, pool our resources and step out on faith to bring our vision to life. We really bootstrapped to make it happen! We found a location, signed the lease, started construction, and within 90-days we opened our business. Snap.Click.Shoot. is an immersive selfie museum and event space in Greater Cleveland located in Beachwood, Ohio, a Southeast suburb of Cleveland.
The museum currently features multiple “exhibits” including a coloring book-style classroom, sneakerhead room, all blue music studio, cloud room, and pink cup wall, all curated for guests to enjoy as backdrops for creative photoshoots, TikTok videos, and more!
Through this business, we’ve stretched ourselves in ways we never have before! We’ve done everything from painting to building props – ourselves!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. At times, we (figuratively) worked our fingers to the bone. The day before our soft opening, one of us had a chemical accident while working in the studio and lost her vision for about a week! Two of us had COVID; one of us lost her mom and was grieving, and one of us lost her grandmother and was grieving. It’s been rough. On top of that, two of us currently work full-time in our careers.
In spite of any challenges, we’ve all worked together to push through and keep things moving forward. There’s still a lot more that we want to do.

Snap.Click.Shoot. is for people of all ages! We make the space available for private bookings and so far, we’ve hosted all kinds of events – kids’ birthday parties, adult birthday parties, gender reveals, video shoots, and even a surprise party that turned into an engagement party! A lot of our guests come in just to make memories and enjoy a fun day out with family and friends. Influencers and brands like to be able to come in and use our Instagram-ready backdrops to create content that is relatable, shareable, and memorable for their brands.
We pride ourselves on being a fun, family-friendly destination. We’re known for our customer service and take a lot of pride in the guest experience.
Individually, we’re all known for being creative. We enjoy planning themed events and tackling new projects.
Deidra loves interior design and is not afraid to pull out a wet-saw and tackle a home improvement or DIY project with no prior knowledge. She’s earned the nickname, “Barb the builder”, because of it!
Latrice loves hosting and creating memorable experiences. She’s a BOSS and we really lean on her as a project manager to be the glue to pull and hold everything together.
Keyana has a background in marketing and public relations. She manages all of our tech systems, graphic design projects, and everything marketing-related.
We started this business a year into a global pandemic with no investors or loans. The three of us, with corporate backgrounds, full-time jobs, and full-time families, found a way to pull this together through faith and hard work. We faced many issues with budget, contractors, and permits, but we made it happen. We literally painted, installed flooring, and designed every single set ourselves! Keyana even built some of our props. Brand-wise, we’re proud to have created a brand that is professional and just really cool!
What sets us apart from others is really how serious we take customer service and the guest experience. This business is really about fun and making our guests feel good. Some people feel awkward taking pics, and may not feel photogenic or like they even know how to pose. We’re here to prove them wrong! We encourage them to really take their time and even strike a few sample poses they can try! We love it when they leave telling us how much fun they had!
People are really just starting to understand the concept of a selfie museum. so, we just like to explain how it works:
1. Buy your tickets and book your reservation online.
2. Sign the online waiver, come to the venue, and check-in for your scheduled time slot.
3. Tour the installations and snap, click and shoot as much as you want.
4. Leave and share your pics and experience on social media.
We host a lot of special events and private events, so check availability online before coming and book your tickets in advance.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
We all grew up in and around Cleveland. It was not without its struggles for any of us, but we all innately have such a resilience within us that has shaped and molded who we are today and how we got where we are.
