Hi Jericho, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I was working for a property management company in 2020, and I was really enjoying it, but it wasn’t financially driving me in the places I wanted to go. I truly sat down and thought about creating a cleaning company. I wrote the business plan down, and it took me about a month of writing and re-writing my plan. The name of the company was really interesting because I wanted the company to represent the values that the people would use in their everyday work life. I went to the store and just bought cleaning supplies and got on social media outlets to show everyone I had a business, it was a struggle because I thought I could just hire people, and they figure it out, but it I doesn’t work that way. I’ve hired many people over the last two years and for the most part, I have had good people on my team. What makes it difficult is keeping people interested in actually doing the job. The biggest mistakes I made was not having the right tools to do the job or just simply finding the right people, period, especially during COVID. I started spending money on huge employment websites like Indeed, Monster, Simplyhired, etc. What made the job more easier for my employees was having guidelines that they can follow and show them how easy the job could be if they followed instructions. Today, I have 10 Commercial Clients that love my business and what we stand for, and it all comes back to Customer Service. We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a struggle finding people to work because of COVID, so I did a lot of the work myself. That can be difficult if the workload is a lot, and most of the time it is. Another challenge is getting clients on a bi-weekly plan, money that can come twice a month, and not just have one client but 10-25 clients like that every single month.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love that Columbus is growing, and they are constantly building apartment communities which brings more business to my company. I also like that it takes only 20 minutes to get to any place in Columbus.
