Inspiring Conversations with Brittany Loren of Glovation Circus

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Loren.  

Hi Brittany, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my Circus journey in 2012 with the hula hoop. Found a local Circus school, Bird’s Eye View Circus Space in Toledo. Started doing aerial silks. What started as a personal journey to find self-love and work through personal battles ended in me finding a career in Circus. In 2018 I started Glovation Circus to help others find, build, and accomplish their goals and passions. Now we travel nationally creating experiences for all! 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Covid 19 was a huge hit. We had some of our biggest clients lined up for 2020, but they all fell through during the pandemic. Because I don’t like to sit still, I started a new business in costume design named Berry’s Closet. Now I create custom performance outfits for my company and ship worldwide. Sometimes you have to make the best out of what you’re handed. 

As you know, we’re big fans of Glovation Circus. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Glovation Circus is an entertainment agency that Specializes in and Curates for clients big and small. From birthday parties to large-scale multi-day festivals and productions. We are Circus based but also offer experiences and work with any theme. 

I personally book, create experiences, and make dreams come alive. I also perform! Fire breathing, aerial acrobatics, stilt walking, dance, and more. There is a small number of things I can’t do. 

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
In my field, you have to read and understand people, their ideas and be willing to go the extra mile. Being creative and personable is extremely important. Not only when creating and putting events together but for performing as well. It takes a lot of skill and practice to make guests comfortable enough to feel as though they’re with their friends while also seeing those friends do amazing out-of-this-world acts and performances. You have to believe in magic to make it come to life. And never give up on finding the next best thing!
