Today we’d like to introduce you to Sam Boccuti.
Sam, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been cooking for as long as I can remember- all the way back to being the sous chef in my grandma’s meatball factory. Then on to pan greasing and training new delivery drivers at the ripe age of 5 in my dad’s pizza shops. Got hired at 15 at the Golden Arches and cooked all through high school at various chains.
Professionally partied my way right on through my early 20s while being shown how to cook food the right way by two talented and demanding women who became second moms. Moved to Vegas and became a culinary school dropout and then spent the last 16 years getting good at what I do. I got married, adopted 306 dogs, and 2 cats, and have been bouncing from place to place trying to find the right fit, I recently finally decided to open my own catering business! And I’m never looking back.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There is no such thing as “smooth” on my path! If it can happen, it will happen to me! Unless you want this to turn it into a novel I’ll spare you the details. I have way too much determination and energy to be defined my struggles.

How do you define success?
I started my business because I was sick of working non-stop extremely hard and still always struggling. So when that happens I guess I’ll have achieved success in my opinion. I’m not looking to get rich. I just want to live my normal life with less stress and help some people along the way.
