

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendra Foos
Hi Kendra, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started baking and selling cakes in my home in 2011. Shortly after I started selling cakes I started to make frosted sugar cookies. My husband and 3 sons helped cut and bake the cookies and I decorated the cake and cookies. My home business just kept growing each year. It eventually started to take over our house so we decided to buy a building and take the big plunge into owning our own bakery. We have been in business at our new location for almost 2 1/2 years now.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Our biggest challenge is knowing how much to make each week. Some weeks we don’t make enough of something and run out hours early and other weeks we make too much and have a lot of waste.

We specialize in quality desserts including sugar cookies, specialty cookies, pies, cheesecakes and custom order cakes for all occasions.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am one of 14 siblings. So I had a lot of practice on birthday cakes growing up.
