Hidden Gems: Meet Chauntia Williams of WomenSaving

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chauntia Williams.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always had a heart for those who were stuck or unsure how to navigate through a particular situation. I was often the ear for my family and friends and would provide a solution or path. As I became older that desire to be available, to assist or walk alongside, narrowed down to women. Women who are hurting and stuck spiritually. Women who have a relationship with God, but have experienced life struggles, that have left them questioning whether God was still present. With lots of prayer, I was led to start my own coaching ministry. It’s called WomenSaving. It was birthed a year ago on Valentines Day and started out initially on Instagram. I post encouragement messages, share scriptures from the Bible and offer prayer, if it’s wanted. I also offer one on one coaching sessions to assist in living a free life in Christ. No longer being held captive by the world’s standards. It’s simply the freedom of not being captive by ineffective mindsets that torture us.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road of getting started was extremely smooth; I felt like I was Ice Skating! Lol That was also confirmation, I was walking in the right direction. However, as I begin to settle into what I was doing, the insecurities of being qualified rose up and I wondered if what I offered had a place. With supportive family and friends, I was able to get back to my why. Why I felt led to do this, the reality that it’s been my life’s mission since I was younger and there was nothing else, I desired most than to be available and serve those who are spiritually stuck.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
WomenSaving is an organization that advocates for women who are spiritually stuck, the voiceless, and women who are experiencing brokenness as a result of trauma i.e.; depression, domestic violence, human trafficking and drug abuse, as a means of coping. Our services include coaching and mentoring grounded in Christian Principles. We provide practical tools to spiritual freedom and mental wellness. WomanSaving serves as resource and liaison, for therapy and counseling services.

The biggest thing that sets me apart is my passion. I’ve done this for years naturally and it’s not in a church building. While it’s built on Christian principles, it does not limit or exclude anyone who’s beliefs may differ. I want to meet them wherever they are and provide practical guidance in becoming free in how they see themselves as well as their spiritual walk.

Sometimes we just need someone who’s willing to have a heart with ears, listen to understand and provide everyday tools in breaking free from the things that keep us in bondage.

I am most proud/grateful that I’ve had a few opportunities to share what I do on a few podcasts as well as this interview. I’m grateful for the exposure ♥️

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My family and friends have been extremely supportive, encouraging and helpful in this process. My mom gives me daily pep talks and is willing to assist in supporting me. My husband has been instrumental in supporting the idea of me walking away from the corporate world, to birth this ministry. My friends have been my cheerleaders and reaffirming that this is what I was called to do. I have not done any of this without them and I credit all that I have done thus far from faith in Christ and the support of my tribe (family and friends)
