Today we’d like to introduce you to Briana Graham.
Hi Briana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up shopping was an experience I enjoyed. My family spent the entire Saturday shopping. This love for shopping grew to a love for fashion. It was obvious that I had an eye for fashion. My family and friends would often call me for advice on what to wear or even drag me to the stores with them, some would ask to shop in my closet and would call me Closet Junkie, which is where the name derived from. Closet Junkie means a unique variety of clothing.
Closet Junkie started as an E-commerce based store in 2019. As the year ended I realized as the boutique world is an over-saturated community it was missing something customer service and convenience. I shut down my online store and took a break to rebrand. During COVID I wasn’t working I sketched out what would be Closet Junkie Mobile Boutique. I wasn’t sure how I was going to pull it together but I knew this was what I wanted and had dreamed of and it was time to make it happen, A bus converted into a walk-in closet. I then went back to working with my clients 7 days a week and was able to buy the bus cash. I continued to work 7 days a week for three months to fund my dream. On may 2021 I opened Closet Junkie Mobile Boutique, the boutique that comes to you.
Closet Junkie Mobile Boutique offers curbside shopping where we will bring our ENTIRE boutique to you. We also offer glam parties which are our girls’ nights where you and you girls can have some retail therapy at the convenience of your party. We sell women’s clothing size small-3x
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh no, the road has definitely been rough but well worth it and actually a lot of fun. I have dealt with many struggles, as there aren’t many Mobile boutiques here in Cincinnati this has been my year of what works and what doesn’t work what works best to give my customers the best shopping experience. I also have had many struggles in the process of getting the bus up and running. There were many long days and nights. Entrepreneurship isn’t a smooth road but it’s very well worth it. I think most business owners would agree with this. It is not for the weak!
As you know, we’re big fans of Closet Junkie Mobile Boutique. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a bus converted into a walk-in Closet. We sell unique women’s clothing sizes small-3x. We offer curbside shopping, where we will bring the entire boutique to you, deliveries and online shopping 24/7 at www.cjbonthego.com.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
My customers leave my store with a great experience every time whether they make a purchase or not. I want my customers to feel welcome. This is huge for me I’m big on customer services even in my own shopping experiences. I want my customers to gain/restore confidence with fashion. If you look good you feel good and everyone deserves both.
