Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashlea Piefer
Hi Ashlea, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story is full of highs and lows, light and what some may call dark experiences. For as far back as I can remember, and I can go back far—back to the point of inception and then my birth—I remember what it felt like to navigate down that tunnel into the world of form. I’ve always worked in the realms of energy, frequency, and vibration. As a young child, I was incredibly sensitive to the energies and the subtle shifts within and around my environment.
I grew up in a home that was challenged—challenged financially, mentally, and spiritually. There wasn’t much stability. There were struggles with substance abuse and mental illness, and what I thought was normal, I began to understand wasn’t. I realized not only was my family different, but I was seeing the world in a completely different way than others. I could see what exists between the realms and dimensions of most human understanding—the subtle fields of energy and the intelligence within them. As a child, I used to play with these energies and entities, even with the fae, the fairies. Yes, I played with fairies.
Looking back, I never imagined I’d be here today, sharing the experiences I had as a energetically sensitive and attuned child. Now, they call that electrosensitivity. Combine that with psychic gifts and an awakened, open third eye, and you have a recipe for chaos—because very few people can understand you. That’s exactly what I experienced. I was very misunderstood, and that feeling followed me well into adulthood.
In adulthood, some of my gifts went dormant, but around the age of 26, I began preparing for a spiritual experience that was coming—and it came. I knew the experience was coming because I began having dreams and premonitions. I experienced a spontaneous kundalini awakening, followed by a series of events that led me to where I am now, doing the work I do: teaching others the foundational principles of energy, frequency, and vibration, and inner alchemy.
I’ve dug deep from the depths of survival, spending so much of my developmental years in a state of survival. That’s a completely different energy—a completely different frequency—than if you’d grown up in harmonious surroundings. But that’s where my strength lies. Now, I dedicate my time, energy, and attention to helping others become the best human beings they can be, using every situation and experience to their advantage.
In my work, I combine self-taught education with an understanding of the body’s systems and how to support them. I work with the body, mind, and spirit, understanding that the spirit holds the instruction sets, also known as the morphogenetic field. By addressing all these aspects, I help the psychically aware and spiritually awakened navigate the challenges that come as these gifts come online.
No, you’re not crazy. You’re waking up. Human consciousness, as science now confirms, creates within 11 dimensions—most of which we cannot see with the visible light spectrum. But some can, and those are the ones I serve because I know the challenge of being misunderstood. That’s my story, and that’s why I’m here now.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Naturally, as human beings, we want to fit in. We want to have a community. We want to be seen, understood, accepted, and valued. It was really challenging for me to find others who understood what I was going through. Social environments were very different for me than they are for the average person. There are certain places, experiences, and things that I don’t really want to participate in. It was really hard to explain that to my friends who weren’t seeing what I was, who weren’t experiencing what I did, and who didn’t have that intimate connection with spirit.
There is so much between the realms of spirit, energies, frequencies, and what I like to call frequency intelligence beyond the veil. A lot of people think they’re thinking, but what’s actually happening is these frequencies are being implanted within their minds, making their way into their nervous systems, and then creating behaviors. I would see that in social settings, and even with some of my friends, who might perceive me as a threat. But it wasn’t them; it was the frequencies working through them. It was the beliefs they chose to adopt that connected them with certain paradigms of consciousness, creating separation—between one person and another, one race and another, one religion and another. These are hierarchies of spirit, constructs of creation that we participate in.
I’ve found it really challenging to connect with a community that is on the same mission as I am, which is to do the work on ourselves so we’re no longer feeding these constructs of realities, these structures that bring matter into form. The biggest obstacle and challenge I’ve faced on my journey has been relationships. Most of my closest friends are spread far and wide around the world. But I do have hope that as we continue to move forward in this evolutionary point in our human history, more and more people are awakening and tapping into the spirit of creation.
We’ve been impressed with Metaphysical Ash, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I established Metaphysical Ash, in 2020 after several years of working with individuals on their spiritual development and helping them connect with the truth of their soul and their authenticity. This has been a long process of creating and aligning with this version of myself. What I do is tune in to the essence of the individual beyond their personality, beyond the persona they’ve developed, and reach the core energetics of who they truly are. I specialize in shifting people out of limiting thinking and beliefs and into the frequency of abundance and peace. I can help you take the energy of stress and transform it into momentum, propelling you toward your greatest and highest potential.
The inner alchemy available to you depends on how deep you’re willing to go into understanding yourself. By understanding yourself, you understand the whole of creation and how you are an individualized part of that. My work leads others to their authentic expression, teaching them how to take any stressful situation, past trauma, or limiting belief and turn it into momentum for their most heroic potential. What really fuels and drives me forward is the feedback I receive from individuals. When someone tells me, “Your work has changed my life; the time you’ve invested in me and the information you’ve shared has put me on a higher path, and I couldn’t be more grateful,” that feedback fires me up to continue showing up for my community and the people I serve.
My brand, Metaphysical Ash, is about omnipresence—accepting the ultimate truth that everything exists within the realm of creation. It’s up to us, each as individuals, to discern what we participate in because that is what we bring into our lives. My brand represents you, first and foremost: understanding who you are, honoring your authenticity, and being the change you wish to see. I host group events locally in Columbus, Ohio, and offer one-on-one education, coaching, workshops, and courses focused on spiritual development and inner alchemy. I’ve also partnered with global organizations like Portal to Ascension and the Conscious Awakening Network, and I had a short series of shows on 4bidden Knowledge TV. Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Between the ages of 16 and 17, I found myself homeless, without a stable or safe place to call home. My parents were separated, and my home life was filled with trauma, making it unsafe physically, mentally, and spiritually. During that time, I was fortunate to be taken in by a woman in the neighborhood who, despite her own struggles, provided me with a place to lay my head and feel valued. I share this surprising detail about my journey because, during that time, I made many decisions out of fear and survival. Where I am now, I have learned to accept every part of my journey with full compassion and understanding, without judging myself. This experience has become a foundational part of my work, helping me to embrace all aspects of my path and teaching others to do the same.
