We’re Alex and Daria, a family passionate about real estate and design. Our love for remodeling and renovating our own properties sparked the idea of starting a business that could help others transform their spaces.
The inspiration for Alpada Doors came during a visit to friends in Hilton Head Island, SC. We saw beautiful steel and glass partitions in their newly renovated home and instantly fell in love with the look and feel. When we couldn’t find anything similar in Columbus, we realized there was an opportunity to bring this unique style to our community.
That’s how Alpada was born. The name “Alpada” combines our names, Alex and Daria Palatnyi, and reflects how much we believe in this business. We’re excited to bring high-quality steel and glass doors and partitions to our area and help others create beautiful, functional spaces in their homes.

At Alpada Doors, one of our main goals has been building meaningful relationships with each client to understand their unique needs and provide the best service possible. The nature of our business is quite complex, requiring specialized knowledge and skills. To navigate these complexities, we’ve been fortunate to collaborate with talented architects and engineers who guide us as consultants to ensure we maintain a high standard of expertise.
Another challenge we face is that English is our second language. This sometimes makes communication a bit more difficult, especially when explaining technical details. However, we see this as an opportunity for growth and are committed to continuously improving our language skills and communication to better serve our clients.
