Hidden Gems: Meet Alana Miniard of Love & Whimsy Events

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alana Miniard

Hi Alana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hey there, I’m Alana! I started Love & Whimsy Events in the summer of 2021, shortly after having my son and deeply wanted to build a career that fills my cup and lets my creativity run wild. From a young age, I have always been a planner. The one paying attention to the little details—the things that make a moment feel special. My passion is creating unique experiences that bring people together in ways that feel joyful and unforgettable.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I feel like there’s ups and downs in every small business, things that you’ve done for so long that no longer seem to work or no longer serve their purpose. It pushes you out of your comfort zone so you’re able to grow and scale.

As you know, we’re big fans of Love & Whimsy Events. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We offer uniquely personalized and collaborative event planning services for clients who want their special occasions to be as extraordinary as they are. We do this through a unique approach of deep personalization, creative innovation, and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every event reflects the true essence of our clients. With a warm, approachable style and a passion for crafting unforgettable experiences, we build genuine relationships, making the planning process as joyful and stress-free as the events themselves.
