Hi Zoriana, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey to the flower business.
My name is Zoryana. I am a wife and the mother of a little Amaris. I have been a florist for over 15 years. Since childhood, I have been creative, dreamy, and determined when it comes to things I love. After graduating from the College of Floristry and Design in Ukraine, I dreamed of starting my own flower business. However, due to the difficult circumstances in my country, my family decided to move to the United States to give us a better future.
After moving to the U.S., I had to start everything from scratch. First, I had to learn the language, adapt, understand the culture, and search for work. My first step was to try to get a job at a flower shop down the street from me, but they didn’t want to hire me. So, I decided to sell online. By creating unique floral compositions in hat boxes, I gained great success on the internet. Soon, offers for wedding floral design started coming in. That’s when I decided to open an offline store so that it would be easier for people to buy my services.
The store successfully operated for two years, and it was an interesting experience running an offline shop. But after having little Amaris, whom my husband and I had dreamed of for more than three years, and who was a miracle for us since the chances were slim, I decided to close the store for a while. My team and employees began to fall short in the quality of the products. And that was the right decision temporarily to close the store.
However, after a short break, I returned to offline work with even greater enthusiasm, gathering a new team and searching for the perfect offline studio. Once again, it’s all thanks to my loyal customers and the people who continue to believe in me and my talents! I call my passion for flowers my floral mission. I continue to work, expand my opportunities, and inspire people and young mothers not to lose hope. No matter how hard things seem, everything is possible over time, and all dreams come true if we keep working for them!
I love what I do! My works are easily found online under the name of my brand, Floral Room.
I also have a little secret that I can share with you – I am working on opening my own online floristry school.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No road to success is ever easy. My journey has been, and continues to be, full of challenges. And what I’ve realized along the way is that inspiration alone won’t lead you to success because it comes and goes. Inspiration can only bring quality, but only real hard work will help you be where you want to be!
The biggest challenge for me is not being able to speak freely in English. Otherwise, I easily handle all challenges!

No one will ever care about your cause the way you do, no matter how much they call themselves professionals — unless they are pursuing their own gain!
