

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Cromwell.
Hi Tyler, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always had a love for traveling. Once I graduated college, I was able to travel … on a budget. I became a travel nurse a couple years after graduating and have been coast to coast in the United States. I have been to 8 countries and 23 states in the U.S.
In June of 2021, I embarked on a new journey of becoming an independent travel agent, hoping to share my love of travel with others. I was always the friend/family trip planner! So, I decided to market that as an additional career, hence the Travel Luxe Club. I am very passionate about travel and I love a good deal. It is my goal to plan amazing trips for others while finding the best deals available to help maximize their budget.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been easy! It’s been a struggle balancing my full-time schedule and building my business. There have been many long days and nights. It has been exceptionally busy but worth it! Staying consistent online and building my platform was also difficult. I maintain an online presence on Facebook and Instagram. Sometimes it can be a challenge creating fresh and engaging content to attract new clients, as well as maintain current followers.
We’ve been impressed with Travel Luxe Club, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am an independent travel agent. The Travel Luxe Club plans vacations of every kind, from family vacations to Walt Disney World to honeymoons, solo vacations, and bachelorette parties to Las Vegas. I specialize in Caribbean – all-inclusive destinations, however, I’m very familiar with domestic locations as well! I am very honest about my abilities to curate a vacation in a destination I am not familiar with. I make sure to research the destination to make sure my clients are in a good area, close to the “hot spots” they request or things they would enjoy!
I am young, compared to some of my travel agent counterparts. I also enjoy giving complementary gifts to my clients to show appreciation. My gifts are relevant and practical, most who receive them express their gratitude to receiving a gift that they would not have thought to pack or include in their travel. My extensive travel experiences coupled with my age are both refreshing characteristics that allow me to address the needs of my clients.
What matters most to you? Why?
Planning a vacation can be stressful. My number 1 goal is for my client to have a stress-free planning process that results in an amazing vacation. I take the hard work out of the equation and make it so they just have to pack their bags, purchase excursions, and catch their flight. They can be as hands-free as they would like during the process.
