Hi Nabila, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, I grew up in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I have been in Cincinnati, Ohio for over 15 years with my husband and 3 kids. Growing up in a big family with brothers, everyone is always hungry, and the best conversations always happen around the dinner table. I was always surrounded with delicious; comfort food made my mom and grandmother. This is what motivated me to explore my love and passion for cooking as a young girl. With lots of tips and tricks from my mom and paternal grandmother, I kept experimenting. Years later, I decided to turn my passion into a business. Smiles ‘n Spice was created in November of 2021 to bring back memories of your home and mom’s cooking.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Throughout my journey, it hasn’t been an easy road, balancing a home, kids, and business, but I’m grateful for the experiences and support which has helped me grow my business. I am lucky to have had my family by my side since day one, who understand my love and passion for my work, and I’m humbled by the kind words and reviews from many of my clients! I’m excited to continue to spread the joy and happiness that comes with food and operating a successful business.

Since moving here, I’ve wanted to bring a little bit of home and moms’ cooking to others. That’s why I’m proud to present a unique opportunity to taste home-style cooking from the comfort of your own home. We specialize in Indian/American and Fusion cuisine with a homemade taste. Our meals are made with the freshest ingredients and are created with lots of love, just like your mom’s cooking. We provide hearty, delicious food for individuals, families, parties, corporate events, and more – all made to order. At the moment, we specialize in custom orders to fit your needs.
We are currently working out of a licensed kitchen; however, we do not have a physical store/restaurant presence just yet. To place an order, simply give us a call or text us on 513-942-1786 with two days’ notice. We provide various portion sizes and an array of options to choose from. It’s all cooked fresh in a fully licensed kitchen. Reach out and place your order now – we look forward to cooking for you!
Any big plans?
Our mission is to expand the business and give attention to festivals and markets aside from providing meals for households, so we can make it more user-friendly for everyone. This April, we took part in the Asian Food Festival, a large event with more than one hundred thousand attendees. We had a large amount of exposure and recognition and loved catching up with our loyal customers, along with meeting numerous new people! So, in short, our goal is to locate more venues such as these and have an amazing time while spreading cheer to people with our cuisine. We want to find our place in those sorts of places and have fun while making people happy with our food.
