Hi Morgan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my career as a relationship coach, helping women break the toxic relationship cycle & create the most epic love affairs of their life and created my brand, Empowered Femme, because of my own personal experiences in toxic and abusive relationships. For roughly thirteen years of my life, I cycled in and out of relationships that were either abusive, narcissistic, avoidant, or emotionally unavailable. I kept repeating this pattern over and over with different men, and I continued to ask myself… what is WRONG with me? Then it clicked… nothing was wrong with me… however, I was subconsciously seeking these relationships out and actively participating in them. I realized that I had a choice in what I was experiencing. I no longer wanted to be a victim to my circumstances, I wanted to be the creator of my reality. This led me to understand the why behind toxic relationship patterns and actively change my beliefs, mindset, energetics, behaviors, and, ultimately, my reality. Now? I own a six-figure coaching company that is responsible for helping hundreds of women break the toxic relationship cycle and create the most epic love affairs of their lives, and I’m in the most incredible relationship of my life with the man of my dreams.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overcoming my toxic relationship patterns was messy… I still remember the proverbial punch to the gut when my ex-boyfriend told me he cheated on me twice when he was out of town.
Just 3 months after we moved out of state to start a new life together… daughter and dog in tow
I felt so incredibly blind-sided… and to be honest I felt like an idiot… so much shame. Failure. Humiliation. Guilt…
All the subtle red flags that I swept under the rug throughout our relationship were now front and center…
& man, was it confronting
When I decided to walk away from that relationship, I knew that someway… somehow… it was going to be the best thing that ever happened to me…
And after 4 hellish months filled with heartache, anxiety, nightmares, depression & intrusive thoughts
My heart healed… Not because “time heals all wounds.”
But because I was relentless about doing the work, faced all of the pain head-on & integrated all the lessons that I was meant to learn
After that, I made a decision… that I was WILLING to get my heart broken, and I knew that if I wanted to create the most epic love affair of my life… I had to let down my walls & get vulnerable
No more “one foot in, one foot out” nonsense
I met my now boyfriend within months… (on a dating app! Which is why I teach women how to use apps in a way that actually works!)
And feeling the love that I do inside this relationship is confirmation that, yes, potentially getting my heart broken again is scary…but opening my heart fully (with discernment & keeping my a priority) so I can have the relationship of my dreams is totally worth it
Looking back at that version of me who was willing to face the depths of her pain & alchemize it into her power still inspires me… and I am so grateful for her willingness & bravery to heal so that I can have what I have today.

I am a relationship coach and internal family systems therapist, I specialize in helping women break the toxic relationship cycle and create the most epic love affairs of their life! I started my business four years ago and it has grown incredibly fast.
What sets me apart from others is that I focus on healing the root cause of women’s toxic relationship patterns rather than just managing the symptoms, and we heavily focus on mindset, energetics, and aligned action.
