Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Price
Hi Kelly, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey hasn’t been a typical one. I didn’t finish high school or go to college and lived on my own from a very early age. I was always determined and believed I could do anything. At 15, I moved to another state with just $40 in my pocket, figuring out how to rent an “apartment,” get a job and live independently.
As a child, I organized a fundraiser in our driveway, featuring various carnival games, to raise money for the Jerry Lewis Telethon. This early desire to help others and my fearless approach to challenges have always driven me.
I approach everything with planning, purpose, and determination. When I opened my administration company, I aimed to bring transparency and honesty to the auto industry, addressing the struggles I saw dealers facing. Our company’s motto was People (it all starts with people), Products (building only the best products), and Performance (ensuring that people and products perform as promised), culminating in THE WAY IT SHOULD BE! By staying focused on this mission, we built the best administration company in the business in terms of culture and client service, which I eventually sold.
After selling the company, I dedicated time to charitable work with my non-profit (www.changinglivesfound.org) and the John Maxwell team through iEquip.org. During this period, I got involved in several social action awareness documentaries, which led me to learn about a procedure that helps with PTSD, anxiety, depression, hypervigilance, ADHD, insomnia, and more. This hit close to home as my son, a firefighter, suffered from insomnia, PTSD, and depression.
This inspired me to seek treatment for my son and my son-in-law, who had severe social anxiety. Witnessing the positive impact of the treatment on both of them, I recognized the need to make such treatments accessible to more people. This led to the establishment of Reset Medical and Wellness Center in Cleveland, Ohio. In just 90 days, I developed the business plan and opened the center, creating a space where individuals could receive support for mental health challenges, menopause, ADHD, Long Covid, and more.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life has never been smooth, as I have always had to work super hard, but I have been so grateful to have some wonderful people run alongside me in each of my ventures. I firmly believe that we are better together than trying to do life alone!
The biggest struggle for me has always been work-life balance. I didn’t do a great job of that while running my initial business. For the past five years, I have committed to a solid morning and evening routine and better sleep. It has been life-changing for me. I have lost about 100 pounds, get 6-8 hours of sleep a night (compared to 3-4), and am much closer to God.
We’ve been impressed with Reset Medical and Wellness Center, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
THERE IS HOPE! That’s the core message of Reset Medical and Wellness Center. In today’s world, mental health is a critical issue. Our center specializes in Neuro Sympathetic Reset (NSR), a Stellate Ganglion Block that helps reset the sympathetic nervous system. We provide treatment for anxiety, depression, PTSD, menopause, Long Covid, ADHD, hypervigilance, and so much more.
We are on a mission to provide hope and healing to as many people as possible. Our focus is on peace, healing, and hope. I have witnessed NSR transform countless lives, and I want everyone to know about this effective treatment option.
At Reset Medical and Wellness Center, we stand apart by our commitment to evidence-based, compassionate care.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of our unwavering mission and the positive impact we have on our clients’ lives. We want your readers to know that at Reset Medical and Wellness Center, they can find the support and treatment they need to overcome their mental health challenges and reclaim their lives.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Ha! How do you pick just one? One of my fondest memories was Christmas at my Grandma’s. Every year, all my aunts, uncles, and cousins would gather at her house on Christmas Day, and she would have presents wrapped for each of us (which was a lot) under two trees. But my favorite part wasn’t the presents. It was at the end of the evening when we were allowed to choose two ornaments from the trees to take home. I always tried to find the Snoopy ones. I still have those ornaments and continue to collect ornaments today.
My dream is for my grandchildren to pick from the tree each year too! Every year when we decorate the Christmas tree, it’s like reliving those emotions and memories. When I pull out the Snoopy ornament from 1977, I always say, “Snooopyyy!”
