Hi Justin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always enjoyed BBQ and for the longest time enjoyed smoking it myself. In doing so I discovered that I was often unhappy with the outcomes due to the seasonings I was buying at the store. So, I started making my own blends. After a while, my family and friends started telling me I should sell it. So, we started selling our spice blends online. After that people started asking me to cook for functions they were having and my wife and I started discussing the possibility of opening a restaurant. That discussion led us to thinking about a food truck rather than a restaurant so that we could avoid a lot of overhead costs and also allow us to be mobile and take part in festivals and such. Now we’ve been running for 2 full years and have a decent following in Hancock, Seneca, and Wyandot counties. And we’re continuing to reach father and father out.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road from the get-go, but it hasn’t been super rough either. Supply chain issues and fluctuations in supply costs have been our biggest hurdle. There are weeks where we’re driving an hour or more to try and find all our supplies.

We offer fresh, wood-fire smoked BBQ from our food truck, Specializing in Brisket, St. Louis ribs, and pulled pork. We have a variety of sides to go along with our main items all of which, except our cold sides are smoked on our smoker. Additionally, all our food is seasoned with our own brand of seasonings, offering a flavor you can only get from us.
