Hi Jerry, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Our city is truly remarkable. Opening a Tous les Jours in Cincinnati wasn’t just about business, it was about bringing something fresh and different to a city I love. The Asian-French fusion, the beautiful cakes, the seasonal drinks, the unique offerings you can’t find in most bakeries—that was the strength. It filled a niche between everyday café and special-occasion spot. We were among the first to introduce this brand here because we recognized it as a sophisticated and culturally diverse brand.
There’s something magnetic about walking into a place where the pastries look like art, the air smells like butter and sugar, and every item feels like a tiny luxury. That’s what Tous les Jours offers. And in a city like Cincinnati—growing, buzzing, full of food lovers and families and creatives—it felt like the right time to add a new kind of flavor to the scene.
So we opened one. And every time someone walks in, wide-eyed and curious, and bites into their first milk bread or a latte, I remember that moment and smile. By doing so, we hoped to contribute to making our city a better place—offering more destinations and choices for everyone. As locals, it is also our responsibility to help enhance the quality of life in our community.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We had been preparing to bring this brand to our city several years ago. Unfortunately, the outbreak of COVID-19 significantly impacted our plans, causing considerable delays over the course of a few years. Additionally, as this was a relatively new brand to local here, many landlords were unfamiliar with it, which led to numerous challenges and setbacks during the site selection and leasing process.

Tous les Jours is a French-Asian artisan bakery and café that takes pride in offering a unique combination of freshly baked goods, premium beverages, and warm hospitality. Established in South Korea in 1997, and now with locations across the globe, Tous les Jours has become known for its daily fresh baking philosophy and its ability to seamlessly blend traditional European bakery techniques with Asian-inspired flavors.
We specialize in a wide variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts—all made fresh in-store each day. In addition to our bakery offerings, we also serve handcrafted coffee, tea, and seasonal beverages that complement our menu perfectly.

Our stores provide a warm and inviting atmosphere where customers can enjoy not just delicious baked goods, but also a memorable experience. At Tous les Jours Cincinnati, we are excited about the journey ahead and deeply committed to growing with our local community. As we continue to introduce our unique blend of French-Asian baked goods and premium beverages to more guests in the area, our focus is on enhancing the customer experience and expanding our offerings.
Looking ahead, one of our key priorities is to engage more closely with the community through seasonal product launches, local events, and partnerships. We’re also exploring opportunities to introduce catering services for special occasions, further positioning Tous les Jours as a go-to destination for both everyday treats and celebratory moments.
In the longer term, we aim to expand our presence in the Greater Cincinnati area, opening additional locations that carry the same high standards of freshness, quality, and hospitality. Each new store will continue to reflect our core values while being thoughtfully tailored to its neighborhood.
