Today we’d like to introduce you to Bill Yentz.

Hi Bill, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Always wanted to open my own business, but I was too scared, because I was raising a family. One day I got into a argument with my employers wife who was telling me my diagnosis was wrong on the car I was working on. Then it was a perfect storm. My kids were all out of the house and I decided that if I was going to work for a company, I was going to be a owner. One year later I rented my first building.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Very Rocky! The first year was the hardest . If I had 3 cars in a week I would see that as a good week. I remember my first month. I brought in $8000 and I was excited. The hardest challenge in running a business is Finding employees that treat the business like I do. I am fortunate that I have a team now that takes ownership of my vision in running my repair shop.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a full service garage that specializes in under care care. If we can get it in the door we will work on it. I try to make everyone comfortable here, with the understanding that if you have to come see a mechanic your not having a good day. I offer certain service enmities like transportation. My techs are very knowledgeable in what we do. We are not afraid to be transparent with our customers with any service, we make on a vehicle. We understand we work for the customer, and are grateful for them, we could not be who we are today without our customer. As far as being proud of my brand. That’s a hard one, there is so much to be proud of. I would say my customers, I have spent alot of time of money in advertising. they say work of mouth is the best form of advertisement. That could not be more true. Our customers show our performance and our care in what we do by recommending us to there friends, family and co workers. That in itself speaks volumes about a company. that alone brings me my greatest joy of this company. We do the best we can to go above and beyond. I have been know to loan my personal car to make sure customers have a ride for the day. we try to treat customers in that moment like they are our best friend, and In that moment they are. We strive to over come the stigma that every repair shop tries to take advantage of people. We care about every dollar a customer has to pay so we do our best to be fair and not up sell things that a customer doesn’t need, We provide a full inspection of the customers car with every service and make and estimate on what is wrong with the car and what needs done in priority order. this makes sure our customers have a safe car for them and doesn’t drain there wallet in the process.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I am extremely shy. With being a owner of a business I have to speak and make decisions with various people sometimes in a public or group setting. I have put on fund raisers and drives, which has made me have to speak. Doing this has helped me improve myself as a person.
