Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I always knew that I wanted to start my own business since I was in middle school. I have worked plenty of jobs and was never satisfied with the wages, work environment, or “growth opportunities.” When I started Pristine Steam Wash in 2017, I was working at the bank as a Banker at 27 years old and felt it was time for me to make a shift and do something that was for me and my family legacy. In 2018, I left my job at the bank and took a leap of faith to run my business full-time and give it everything I had. Once I had the opportunity to open my availability and be more flexible with my schedule, it opened more doors and opportunities. My decision to be a Full-Time Entrepreneur is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have had a great deal of team members over the years and currently have an amazing team that helps Pristine Steam Wash grow each year. I couldn’t be where I am today without the Pristine Team!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has never been a smooth road. There have been major ups and downs since I have been in business but never a loss. Every day is a learning curve. This is my first business I started on my own, especially a detailing and steam cleaning company. I only detailed my own vehicles prior to starting my own auto detailing business. Cleaning is something I love to do and starting a business in the cleaning industry was perfect for me. One of my biggest challenges over the years was learning what processes and tools that will work best for the job. Steam cleaning in my market was difficult because there aren’t training classes being offered on how to steam clean with a commercial steam cleaner at this level. Trial and error, videos, and other users of the machine from social media became helpful along my journey of becoming a steam cleaning professional.
As you know, we’re big fans of Pristine Steam Wash LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Pristine Steam Wash is a Mobile Auto Detailing and Steam Cleaning Company located in Canton, OH. We offer multiple services such as mobile auto detailing, where we come to you to clean your vehicle on-site at your home or job, furniture and area rug steam cleaning, and general steam cleaning services by special request. Our primary service we offer is auto detailing, where we specialize in interior steam cleaning for your vehicle. Steam cleaning sets us apart from others because we are not just detailing your car the traditional way. We don’t just clean; we provide cleaning with benefits by using low-pressure dry, hot steam with minor chemicals or no chemicals at all, sanitizing, deodorizing, and deep cleaning all the cracks and crevices that are hard to reach. I am most proud of how far my brand, Pristine Steam Wash “Cleaning With Benefits,” has come over the last 6+ years. I have the brand officially trademarked, and is becoming more well-known around Stark County, OH, and surrounding areas.

I must give credit to my team and supporters. My team plays a big part in helping me with the day-to-day operations, assisting in key areas, and going above and beyond to help with the company success. My customers have not only supported monetarily, but they have given me great business advice that has helped tremendously. I am very blessed and honored to have met all of them along my journey.
