David Andras’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

David Andras shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

David, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity – without question

Energy fuels your ability to execute ideas, maintain momentum, and bounce back from setbacks.

Intelligence helps you solve problems, adapt, and make informed decisions.

Integrity ensures your actions are consistent with your principles, which is crucial for long-term credibility and meaningful relationships. Integrity keeps you aligned with your values and trusted by others.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is David Andras, and I’m a serial entrepreneur dedicated to building businesses and helping others succeed.
My personal brand, “David Andras,” is a reflection of who I am and what I do. I’m passionate about operations, growth, and supporting other entrepreneurs in reaching their goals.
What makes my story unique is my focus on authenticity and long-term relationships. I believe in leading with integrity and taking action, not just talking about ideas. Over the years, I’ve learned that real impact comes from consistency, trust, and a willingness to help others grow alongside you.
Currently, my main goal is to increase revenue across all the businesses I’m involved with (The Ohio Gym, Northern Ohio Business Center, Arabica Express, LifeSync Coaches), while continuing to build a brand that stands for reliability and results.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My parents were the ones who saw me clearly before I could see myself.
From a young age, they recognized strengths and qualities in me that I hadn’t yet understood or appreciated. They encouraged my curiosity, supported my ambitions, and believed in my ability to overcome challenges…even when I doubted myself.
Their unwavering support and honest feedback helped shape my confidence and sense of direction.
Looking back, I realize how much their early belief in me laid the foundation for everything I’ve been able to accomplish.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, there have definitely been times when I almost gave up, especially during the darkest periods of my life.
In those moments, everything felt overwhelming and it seemed easier to just stop trying. But even at my lowest, there was always an inner voice quietly asking, “And then what?”
That simple question kept me moving forward. It reminded me that giving up wasn’t the end of the story, and that there was always another step I could take, even if it was small.
Listening to that inner voice helped me push through tough times and eventually find new strength and perspective on the other side.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is real, but it’s just one side of who I am.
’m actually somewhat of an introvert, so while I enjoy sharing my experiences and insights publicly, there’s a quieter, more reflective part of me that people don’t always see.
In public, I focus on being authentic and transparent, but I also value my privacy and need time alone to recharge and think deeply.
The version of me that people see is honest and true, but like most introverts, there’s more beneath the surface: thoughts, ideas, and motivations that I tend to process privately before sharing with the world.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I can honestly say I’m doing what I was born to do, not just what I was told to do.
While advice and expectations from others have shaped parts of my journey, I’ve always felt a strong drive to carve my own path and pursue what truly matters to me.
Over time, I realized that fulfillment comes from aligning my work with my values, passions, and strengths.
Building my own brand and helping others grow is something that feels authentic and meaningful, and it’s a direction I chose for myself, not one that was handed to me.
