Daily Inspiration: Meet Tiffany Ferguson-Harper

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Ferguson-Harper. 

Hi Tiffany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
When I was a teenager, my mother was diagnose with breast cancer, and I remember her telling me that her doctor was saying there are studies linking deodorant and breast cancer due to the toxins in them. He told her that I shouldn’t be using it because of her condition. Fast forward to be being an adult. I started researching natural remedies for my family and incorporating them. While researching there was a moment that I realized I need to do more for myself to be healthy to live longer for my children. So, I started working on my deodorant Healthy Pitz. I never thought at that time that I would be selling it. I just thought it would be something for me and my family. However, I started giving out samples just so that I could receive feedback from other people. My daughter suggested that I start a business with it however I didn’t have the confidence and continued giving out samples. I went to get my nails done and I was telling my nail tech Toni about my deodorant (she like natural products also). I asked her if I could give her a sample of it because I knew she would be 100% honest with me. She told me she would love to try it; however, she didn’t want me to give her a sample. She wanted to buy a full-size one. I was so excited and said ok. Even though I didn’t have everything that I needed to make a full-size one for her yet. So, I went home found empty deodorant containers online, and ordered them. I didn’t have any labels or a printer, so I made a homemade label. Toni was my first order for my business. About two weeks after that, she order two more, one for her to travel with and one for her mother. After that, I got a little confidence in my product. That helped me to decide that I want to start this journey and help others be aware of what they put on their bodies. This is how Naturalle Tee’s Body Care started. Now I make a complete line of products from natural soap to natural body butter. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Yes, it has been pretty smooth however everything comes with challenges and struggles. You just have to keep believing in yourself, keep pushing, and keep allowing God to guide you. I would say the main struggles for me has been advising and getting my name out there in the world. 

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have a full-time job as well as being a mother. So, I balance being a supportive mom, my business, and my full-time job. I specialize in all-natural body care products and giving great customer service. Customer service is very important to me. I have been in that line of work for at least 20 years. I love to make my customers and people smile. I am all about uplifting people. I am most proud of the family that I have created! My family is the most important thing in my life. Besides God. 

I feel what sets me apart from others is my customer service and how I give to people. Rather it be some of my products for them to try, a smile, a hug, or an encouraging word. That is something you won’t get at a big box store. I like to serve my customers, not just sell them a product. Also, I have God on my side, so his light shines through me.
