Today we’d like to introduce you to Taya Szabados.
Hi Taya, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Cups and pups was started to help raise awareness for the Lorain County dog kennel they run solely on donations and just became a nonprofit. It was also created to help keep my grandfather‘s memory alive. When he passed away I felt very lost without him. Him and I shared a love for dogs he was a K-9 handler and Lieutenant at the same department I now work for so I thought it was a great way to honor him
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been pretty smooth. I get a lot of support from my coworkers and my family. The community has also been very helpful
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a police dispatcher. As a dispatcher we answer calls and get help to wherever is needed. We also do paperwork for the officers. I’m most proud of myself in this position because I know at the end of the day I get to help people
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I believe hard work motivation and determination are the most important for my success
