Today we’d like to introduce you to Phillip Tate
Hi Phillip, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
**”I got started with streaming when I realized my passion for talking about and playing games. When my mom called me on her lunch break, while at work. she told me about how she seen her coworker watching live streams of video games and told me that might be my calling . I found that I was naturally drawn to gaming and the community behind it and wanted to explore more. To pursue this interest, I decided to go to Youtube university to do some research.
From there, I started out by going live form a recliner and a Chromebook. Those 1st streams helped me develop a strong foundation in using streaming programs and gave me my first taste of working in the industry. It was a great learning experience that not only sharpened my technical skills but also showed me the importance of preparation adaptability and trouble shooting on the fly.
I’ve been building on that foundation ever since by taking on new challenges, learning from each experience, and continuously improving my skills
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
“It hasn’t been easy, from securing funding to managing time. It’s all been a process, but I believe that anything truly worthwhile is never simple.”
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
“I enjoy maintenance work and take pleasure in fixing things. When someone is stressed because a sink is clogged or the lights aren’t working, I love being able to resolve the issue and help them feel at ease.”
