Naliyah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Around June 2023, I was really indecisive about what exactly it was that I wanted to pursue. I connected with Compton, a major manager and A&R for many of Cleveland’s artist; He messaged me and ask if I could create a treatment for a music video, I said “yes I can”, not knowing exactly what to expect, when I finished, he said “can you create a cover?”. At the time, I never knew anything about artwork, but I still said to him “yeah I can”. So I created a cover and now i’m a full-time graphic designer 1 year later.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Well, honestly, no it has not. But, humbly I can say it’s not supposed to be. When I first started out, I had no idea what I was doing. I was completely blown away by how complex graphic design can be. It does take a lot of patience and consistence to create the covers you desire for your clients. I am still learning many different techniques because it’s still a learning process.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Hello Readers! I am a full-time freelance graphic designer. I create artwork and business/brand marketing designs for musicians and entrepreneurs. My most proud moment is when I was chosen to create Stunna 4 Vegas’ ( A North Carolina Rapper) single cover for “Ask Around”. Which I believe is what I’m most known for, but to be completely honest, i’m not sure.
