Today we’d like to introduce you to Melody Phoenix

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My first love was poetry. I had the desire to write my own poetry, so I created a poetry book called “Vision”. I can write a poem about anything, but something was missing. I could not put my finger on what it was exactly. After years of mastering my craft, I fell in love with music. Poetry and Music are similar but the instrumental aspect of music always swept me away. I’m currently working on project called “Moon”. I have songs I created on guitar on my Instagram. I love music and will continue to keep writing tunes.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road is not smooth at all! Learning an instrument is difficult and trusting the process is scary. I really want to run in this journey, but I have to stumble, crawl and then walk. Even though it’s hard, I love that because it feels like I finally found the missing piece to my journey. Once I’m stuck on something I have to master it, I won’t stop until I do.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I create music with a keyboard or a guitar you can find my music on my Instagram. I have a dream bigger than myself, and I will not stop until it is achieved.

What were you like growing up?
My personality is huge! I love talking to people I never meet. I’m extraverted but I also like the quiet days as well.
