Today we’d like to introduce you to Kate Dulac
Hi Kate, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in New Jersey, and I’ve always considered myself a foodie! I began documenting my favorite eats and travels back in high school, never imagining how this passion would lead to such an incredible community.
Recently, I made the move to Cincinnati, and it was a fresh chapter that gave me even more opportunities to explore new restaurants, dishes, and travel experiences. As I shared more of my experiences online, I was able to build a community of like-minded food lovers, which has been incredibly rewarding.
Today, I continue to combine my love for food with my travel adventures, collaborating with brands and sharing my experiences with a growing audience. It’s been an exciting journey, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to share my love for food with others!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggle has been balancing this passion with the demands of daily life. It’s not always easy to juggle creating content, managing social media, and staying on top of everything else—whether it’s work, personal commitments, or just life in general. It can be overwhelming at times, but finding that balance has been a big part of the learning process.
Despite the challenges, it’s all been incredibly rewarding, and I’ve learned a lot along the way!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In addition to my work in the food and travel space, I also work full-time in tech, specifically in the SaaS industry. While I keep my tech career separate from my content, I’m proud of both aspects of my life and how they’ve shaped my journey.
Along with my tech career and content, I’m also the founder of Divine by Kate, my own jewelry business. I design pieces that reflect my personal style and the joy I find in creativity. It’s been an exciting venture that allows me to express myself in a completely different way, and it’s been rewarding to see it grow.
In terms of my food & travel content, I’m primarily known for focusing on discovering great eats and exciting destinations. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for exploring new places and sharing those experiences in a way that feels authentic and relatable.
What I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built around my content. It’s been so rewarding to connect with people who share similar interests and passions, and I’m grateful for the opportunities that have come from doing what I love.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My biggest piece of advice for those just starting out is to stay authentic and patient. Building a community or growing a platform takes time, and there will be ups and downs along the way. It’s easy to get discouraged, but staying true to yourself and your passions will help you stand out in the long run.
I also wish I had known how important it is to find balance early on. It can be tempting to overextend yourself or try to do everything, but setting boundaries and managing your time effectively will make the journey much more sustainable and enjoyable.
