Hi HYDRA, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
HYDRA’s journey began at a local library, where we discovered a studio and took lessons on navigating GarageBand. This experience ignited our passion for artistry, leading us to create music that draws from our personal experiences, resonating deeply with others
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The challenge was adapting to life after high school and identifying the personal niches that truly resonated with us. Once we navigated through that phase, we reconnected and seamlessly resumed our journey, enhanced by a touch of rebranding

HYDRA is celebrated for its innovative music! One of our proudest achievements is the genuine awe we feel for the tracks we create. We consistently push boundaries, and I truly believe we bring a unique aesthetic and artistry to the table that has yet to be seen
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Some of our most valuable lessons have come from our communication as a unit and some from our engineer, Dirk! He has always been a source of support and education, and with the combined efforts – magic is really created. The key takeaway has been to enjoy the music-making process, producing songs on our own and focus on what truly makes us happy and not allowing opinions to dictate the type of music that we will create. HYDRA loves to tell a story and the upcoming story is a bit “Wonky” so stay tuned
