Daily Inspiration: Meet Halle Davis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Halle Davis.

Hi Halle, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I studied art in high school; from 2009-2013. While working with different colors and mediums, a realization of wanting a more “permanent” approach as my canvas stuck with me. At my college campus, Kent State’s fashion program piqued my interest, but I studied Pre-Medicine instead. After changing my career plans, I decided to use my artistic talent in clothing.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No; even with a cluster of supporters. Success is not a smooth ride, but it’s only stressful or hard if you choose that feeling. The only struggle I’ve experienced is stagnancy in sales, from lack of personal exposure or mental breaks when the work becomes overwhelming.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work and designs mostly come from national holidays and seasons of the year. My biggest peak so far was Valentine’s Day 2022 with different shades of pink. Each year, my holiday design changes as my creativity elevates. It’s amazing to see how time, effort and dedication can improve your skill in many ways.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
A book that I apply to my everyday life is called “The Purpose Life Driven,” written by Rick Warren. It teaches people how to achieve spiritual growth by following Christian values.
