Today we’d like to introduce you to Gus Angelone.
Hi Gus, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m Cleveland Browns Superfan Pumpkinhead! It all started in 2004 when the team coined their helmet color “pumpkin orange” & there spawned my idea! Every year the legend grew & grew to where I’m at today! I’ve been seen regularly on ESPN, NFL Network & all the local news channels. To couple w/ my character, I also host the largest pregame parties outside the Muni Lot! We’ve shut down West 6th to now host block parties which average 3k Browns fans per home game!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been a wonderful journey that continues today. Some negativity shoots my way on social media occasionally but that’s only driven by jealousy & like our franchise quarterback Baker Mayfield fuels me even further!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I work for General Motors in the MFD Parma plant. I also own & operate a small property maintenance company doing landscaping & plowing.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is my two boys CJ & Vince, my family & friends! Obviously, the Browns make me very excited too!
