Today we’d like to introduce you to Eli Snyder.
Hi Eli, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
This is a story of seeking identity. Hidden truths. And proving one’s worth.
Early on, I learned the value of reputation and power of advertising when I became infamous at my local high school for having moderate success stealing a coveted and uncirculated Senior Hoodie from the marketing department.
As a Bartender, I found that people, much like the fine spirits and wines we serve, they come in different packages but typically have the same effects.
As a Union Apprentice I found that it’s money isn’t everything and misleading career advice can be quite dangerous.
As a Restaurant Manager I learned that even when presented with facts, people rarely agree on them.
As an Advertising Salesmen, I found that money speaks volumes but it’s cheaper if you know somebody in the business.
As a Barista, I learned that most people love the same things just with individual preferences.
As a Concierge for a Prominent Downtown Hotel I was able to promote quality services and share local folklore.
Now in 2025 I find myself working the graveyard shift at a Local Homeless Shelter 5 days a week.
From mischief to management, I think I’ve spent a great deal of time working for and with “the people.”
It’s not easy, but when we seek understanding, with hope and faith I know that the impossible can be made possible.
-Eli S.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I would say that the path I took was not smooth but it was my choice to make. There is a saying that “there are many paths to the mountaintop and we all must take our own.” I found this to be true for me.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have spent over a decade exploring different career paths but I think I am most proud of my work with people. Everyday we are given a chance a change, I feel that it is important to support that idea.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
The community can best support me by offering encouragement, and keeping communication open. We are all in this together after all.
