Hi Angela, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I can honestly say there are a lot of pillars relevant to my success today. The one that sticks out is when my corporate job ceased operations, and I had to make an executive decision to find a new place of employment or take a leap of faith into the world of entrepreneurship. I chose to take a dive into entrepreneurship in the health and wellness industry; I started in networking marketing and learned a lot of skills necessary to professionally grow. The extensive trainings that the right network company can provide has the ability to stick across the board that is what I took into every business venture which led me to the Billion dollar beauty industry.
The skills that I developed were second to none.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It most definitely has not been an easy road. Some feel as though if you are not trained in a specific field, you lack the knowledge to lead them. I had no idea how to do any beauty service to include hair, nails, makeup, lashes, etc. Therefore, people did not know, like, or trust that I could lead them to opportunities in that industry. I opted for the next best thing; I utilized the business skills I developed into my offspring. This is how I initially built a reputation for myself. I dealt with a lot of rejection. I overcame rejection and created opportunities with minimal to no resources just a willingness to succeed.
I am an ambitious person, I am a forward thinker, I feel as though if you God brought this to you it was for a reason. I live with gratitude and thanks that I was chosen, even through the rough patches.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a businesswoman, business coach, and real estate investor.
I own a few companies in these industries, but I operate under my personal brand, Angela Brown, as a business coach.
I specialize in teaching beauty entrepreneurs how to launch their own personal brand to create 6-7 figures online using e-commerce strategies for digital or physical products. The ultimate goal is to show them how to create wealth with diverse streams of income, build influence, and make an impact.
I am known best for growing businesses in the health and beauty industry.
I am most proud of the results my clients get. I am also proud of my decision to publish my own self-development book this year.
What sets me apart is my technical advantage, my business expertise, my eye for opportunity, and my honesty and discipline.
What makes you happy?
Believe it or not, reading a good self-development book make me happy. I am always searching for a way to better than I was yesterday.
