Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Zolna
Hi Amanda, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was exposed to the love and art of Photography all throughout middle and high school by my best friends mom who never failed to document every event for us. After high school I ordered my 1st camera and started senior photos for free until I had a good base of clientele. I interned at a local studio for a year then I started my own business shortly after & dipped my toes into all branches of photography. Weddings and families became my passion and I have been loving my career while capturing the best moments in time ever since!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Running a small business alone will always come with struggles. The biggest one is the constant worry if you’re good enough still or creative blocks that stand in your way. I deeply struggled to find balance once becoming a mom but after a year I got my work process down and now have the best support system and flow than I ever had!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in full time Wedding photography that continues to capture the milestones of maternity, newborn, family and more. I am known for my warm timeless edits that never go out of style, and bubbly personality that always makes a session or full wedding day fun/not awkward!
I am most proud of being able to co-open and own my very 1st studio with a dear friend of mine. Owning a studio has been a dream since 2019 and to have finally accomplished that is still mind blowing to me.
The biggest thing that sets me apart from others is the lengths I go and dedication I have to all of my clientele. I tend to always go the extra mile for them and will never stop trying to be the best photographer they have booked.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory has to be warm days spent at my grandparents house eating lunches in their motorhome that was parked in their driveway and playing on the slip n’ slide all day long with my sisters
