Hi Soyeene , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have always been passionate about makeup. I pursued my dream by starting a makeup business in Toronto, Ontario, but as life took unexpected turns, I had to rebrand and revisit my goals at a later date. My journey led me to Cleveland, Ohio, where I found love, got married, and discovered a new passion for luxury fashion.
In this new city, I embarked on a new venture and founded “Lynwall Classics,” my luxury fashion line that quickly gained attention for its unique designs and quality craftsmanship. However, my entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there. I noticed the need for support and guidance among fellow entrepreneurs like myself, so I started a support group on Facebook called “The Boss Wire.”
The Boss Wire group aimed to assist entrepreneurs in finding their purpose and staying motivated along their entrepreneurial journey. I organized group meetups and networking opportunities, providing a platform for like-minded individuals to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. My dedication to empowering others within the entrepreneurial community made The Boss Wire a thriving online community with members from all walks of life.
My efforts in both the fashion industry and the entrepreneurial support community not only showcased my leadership and vision but also proved my commitment to helping others succeed. As my businesses continued to grow, I remained a true inspiration to those around me, always willing to lend a helping hand and share my valuable knowledge and experience.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to success was not easy for me. Moving to a new city and learning to adapt to a completely different environment posed challenges. I found myself struggling with feeling uninspired, especially while balancing being a new wife and mother. In addition to the entrepreneurial challenges, I faced difficulties in finding new friends and integrating into a new community. I grappled with the limitations of not being able to fully leverage my resources in an unfamiliar country. Despite these obstacles, I persevered, demonstrating resilience and determination in the face of adversity, to overcome the hardships of starting a business from scratch and rebuilding her brand in a new location.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am truly passionate about my work. I wore many hats and I believe I am incredibly talented. I am a well-rounded entrepreneur with the ability to juggle multiple roles such as acting, modeling and content creator, lifestyle influencer, and social media guru.
Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to work on major projects and TV shows, including “The Big Cigar” on Apple TV, “Painkiller” on Netflix, and many more. My skills in creating compelling storytelling and captivating my audience via social media have garnered a loyal following.
With over 10 years of experience, I have mastered the art of storytelling and could enhance the branding of businesses as a social media manager, taking them to the next level. My passion for my work shone through in everything I did, and my dedication to my craft was truly inspiring.
How do you think about happiness?
The things that make me happy are spending quality time with my family, friends, and loved ones, and being immersed in my faith in God. Taking a walk in the park, traveling, watching the sunset over the ocean, or getting lost in the process of inspiring others. The simple things of life bring me immense joy. Laughter, the sound of birds chirping, and the feeling of accomplishing a task, being a wife, a mother, and a friend brings me all sources of happiness and contentment in my life.
