Hi Jacob, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hello, my name is Jacob Blanton and I am the proud owner of E&J Mechanical Systems LLC based out of New Carlisle and serving the entire Miami Valley. My journey in Hvac began when I was a teenager learning the basics at Springfield Clark CTC. Fast forward nearly 15 years and I have gained extensive experience and complex commercial and residential repairs and installations. Growing up as the son of a plumber, I learned the plumbing trade at a early age and have carried that expertise with me throughout my career.
I founded E&J Mechanical Systems from scratch after noticing a gap in the market for loyal and honest Hvac and plumbing services. The name E&J comes from the first initials of my children’s names, symbolizing that every job we do is a testament to what I hold dear in my life, my family.
At E&J Mechanical Systems we are much more than just a contractor, we are family. From our home to yours you can trust us to provide the care and quality you would expect from a family member in your home or business. Just like any good family we succeed when you succeed.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As for any start up business there are always struggles such as gaining clientele, working capitol, and quality employees. We have overcome these obstacles by relying on word of mouth, Better Business Bureau accreditation, and proper licensing, as well as faith in God to provide guidance and direction.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
E&J Mechanical Systems is a full service commercial and residential heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration company. I specialize in high quality service and instillation of heating and cooling product. I am known for my excellent customer service skills and my honesty and integrity. I am most proud of my family and building a legacy that they can also be proud of. I am also proud to have started a business from ground level and built it to what it is today. I feel what sets me apart from others is my hard work ethic, and morals. I truly try to treat every customer as I would family.
What does success mean to you?
I would define success as being able to run my business in a way that not only provides for me and my family, but also able to provide a quality of life for my employees as well as the communities we serve, all while staying true to our core beliefs and faith in God.
