Hi Emily, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey at salon Oakley began 20 years ago, I had a passion for hair and being a part of an Aveda-focused salon. I built my career here for many years until I became the owner 8 years ago. I have grown the team, and we are still an Aveda concept salon in the heart of Oakley Cincinnati, providing a long list of hair services.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been very smooth; I have longevity with my stylists as well as bringing in new talent. When Covid happened things got a little scary and some changes occurred but we got through that. Struggles Are always a part of business ownership, but I feel fortunate to have met the right people who have stuck by me and the salon.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in hair cutting and coloring. I have mastered the craft through ongoing advanced training and experience. I am always learning and growing to keep up with the trends, for all ages. My stylists are all creative and career-driven and thrive on growing their career with creative education.
We are set apart by being an Aveda Concept Salon. We carry the entire line and also use the vegan hair color, which is the best for your hair and the environment

I was creative, very focused on a career and paving a path towards success
